Linda Merwin - Quilter

Linda's love of color, nature, and her exploration of the idea of home inspire her to create functional and decorative sewn items for your home and personal use. She designs and sews seasonal table runners, centerpiece placemats, mug mats, decorative pillows and handbags in all shapes and sizes. She also creates improvisational art quilts from her imagination, inspired by nature.

Linda grew up on a farm in the Finger Lakes region of New York and has always enjoyed a close connection to nature. After attending college in Buffalo, NY, she relocated to Boston, MA to purse a career in Finance. She has enjoyed sewing of all kinds since seventh grade Home Economics class, and took up quilting in earnest while raising her two sons. She now cherishes the time to explore her craft full-time.
